SOVRA Public Procurement Platform Awarded Kinetic GPO National Agreement Across Canada

Competitively awarded agreement gives eligible Canadian public agencies a streamlined path to SOVRA’s procurement solutions, supplier ecosystem, and growing AI capabilities.  

LONGUEUIL, QC – September 23, 2026 – SOVRA, a public procurement platform built for government, today announced that it has been awarded under Kinetic GPO RFSO 26-03 for a cloud-based e-procurement platform. The agreement gives eligible Canadian public-sector agencies a competitively awarded pathway to evaluate and access SOVRA, subject to each agency’s procurement requirements, approvals, and due diligence. 

SOVRA supports public procurement across the lifecycle, from initial request and solicitation development, through sourcing, supplier engagement, evaluation, contract management, and reporting. Built on decades of public procurement experience, including the Canadian MERX ecosystem, SOVRA connects public agencies with a North American supplier community of more than one million vendors and provinces’ procurement solutions, supporting 7,000 public agencies across Canada and the United States.   

For eligible participating agencies, the Kinetic GPO agreement can reduce the need to duplicate an extensive competitive sourcing process, allowing procurement teams to focus more quickly on requirements, solution fit, implementation, and adoption.
