The new system cut project update time by over 50%, improved collaboration, ensured timely delivery, and centralized all project data into a single, accessible hub.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Challenges<\/strong><\/h2><p>LCDOT recognized that in order to quickly and accurately source, review, and report hundreds of projects changes in its Capital Improvement Program (CIP), moving away from legacy workflow management would be essential.<\/p><p>Over the course of six years, the agency attempted to move from a paper-based process to custom technology system. But the implementation was lengthy while the outcome failed to address the agency\u2019s evolving needs.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Solution<\/strong><\/h2><p>In 2022, LCDOT partnered with EcoInteractive to implement a fully digitized solution for managing its CIP. It will be a hub where people don\u2019t have to search all over the shared drive to find information on a project.
