This shift allowed TPB to centralize data collection, streamline coordination across multiple agencies, and introduce custom features that matched their unique regional needs. In late 2024, TPB upgraded to the newest version of the platform, gaining enhanced functionality and performance.<\/p><p><em>\u201cThe upgrade to this platform was almost seamless. I was able to just jump right into it\u2026 the workflow is very sensible.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u2013 Andrew Austin, Transportation Planner, TPB, on the upgrade from the legacy version to the latest version of ProjectTracker<\/em><\/p><h2><strong>Challenges<\/strong><\/h2><ul><li>A need for a standardized, centralized form for project data collection.<\/li><li>Complex coordination across the three state Departments of Transportation (DOTs).<\/li><li>A desire to simplify processes that were inconsistent or fragmented among partners.<\/li><\/ul><p>Prior to implementing ProjectTracker, these issues made it difficult to maintain accurate, timely data and communicate planning decisions effectively across jurisdictions.<\/p><h2><strong>Solution<\/strong><\/h2><p>In Q1 2020, TPB partnered with EcoInteractive to launch ProjectTracker as its unified planning platform. The system provided:<\/p><ul><li>A single digital entry point for TIP and LRTP project submissions.<\/li><li>Standardized workflows across the three DOTs to ensure data consistency.<\/li><li>Custom reports and tools tailored specifically for TPB\u2019s planning and transparency needs.<\/li><\/ul><p>By Q4 2024, TPB upgraded to the latest ProjectTracker platform, further enhancing the system\u2019s usability and aligning with new federal and regional reporting expectations.<\/p><p><em>\u201cWe have a lot of very particular specific things that really required some out-of-the-box [configurations] made for us. We\u2019re a really demanding bunch here, but we feel like we\u2019re getting our money\u2019s worth.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u2013 Andrew Austin, Transportation Planner, TPB<\/em><\/p><h2><strong>Uniquely Configured Features<\/strong><\/h2><p>Due to the configurable nature of ProjectTracker, requirements that would have previously been customizations could easily be handled with configuration of the existing platform.<\/p><p>To address TPB\u2019s unique goals, several unique configurations to the software were made, including a\u00a0<strong>Bike\/Pedestrian Plan module<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>conformity information section<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>project description PDF report<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>amendment summary report<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>customizations to the public site<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div data-particle_enable=\"false\"
